2025 Palm Sunday - The Greatest Comeback in History

As we approach Holy Week, we're invited to reflect on the profound story of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. This pivotal moment, recounted in Luke 19, reveals Jesus as both the humble King and the weeping Savior. We see Him orchestrating His own coronation, riding on a donkey as prophesied, while the crowds exuberantly praise Him. Yet, in a striking contrast, Jesus weeps over Jerusalem, knowing the city will reject Him. This emotional rollercoaster reminds us of God's complex love for us - desiring our worship, yet grieving when we miss His visitation. The passage challenges us to recognize God's presence in our lives and respond with wholehearted praise. Are we, like the disciples, ready to make His praise glorious? Or will we, like Jerusalem, miss our moment of divine visitation? Let's seize every opportunity to acknowledge Christ as our King, lest even the stones cry out in our place.
